If you have, please give your thoughts on this film. If you watch the sub-stories for each film, apparently, they explain how all the films are related, but I didn't exactly pick up on that,

I think that they were great. I loved Ang Lee's Chosen and Guy Ritchie's Star . The "films" were great portraits of the contrasting styles of each director. It WAS a commercial that promoted the beautiful BMW's, but those two movies (there were four in total) also had a good story to go with it. (The other two movies werent as captivating, but did display the BMW nicely). I highly recommend it if you have a broadband connection. I believe the site is bmwfilms.com...

I've seen them, but I didn't notice the connection. Ang Lee's flick was excellent and Ritchie's movie was also pretty cool. The other two were mediocre.

I have seen Star and Chosen. Both were very good. I really like the concept of the whole short film thing! Not to mention a brilliant advertising scheme on the part of BMW!

It's a very good marketing concept, and the idea is really good. It would be nice, if these film would be showed as cinema-adds before movies.
Besides, Clive Owen is a very interesting actor. You should check his "Croupier" out.

They're a little much to sell a car. Very pretentious!

I liked the Frankenheimer (sp?) one as well. Madonna was a bit annoying for me. Although it was fun to see her getting tossed around, I don't think she should be portraying British people, because her accent is just repulsive.
I think the connection is just as followed:
Clive Owens
Car Chases
BMW
I haven't heard of anything beyond that.
I don't see the pretention thing. It's a car company. Of course they are going to push the idea that they are the best - they want you to buy their car.
A lot of companies have done short films as promotions. I just can't name any.

POWDER KEG was my favorite, but they were ALL excellent. I think this was an awesome advertising scheme for BMW as well. I'm just wondering how much the entire campaign cost them. Anyway, I loved seeing the difference in all of the director's styles, a great showcase in talent.
Clive Owen would be an awesome James Bond!

Seen everything apart from Powder Keg. It takes too long to download onto my hardrives so I'll wait until it shows on Brovo.
I loved the film Guy Riche did, the chases are kool.
If you check the site [bmwfilms.com] you will find the cable premiere dates.
