This weeks new movies are:

DRIVEN (Sylvester Stallone, Burt Reynolds)
SOMEONE LIKE YOU (Ashley Judd, Hugh Jackman)
SPY KIDS (Antonio Banderas, Carla Gugino)
CROCODILE DUNDEE IN LOS ANGELES (Paul Hogan)

After reading the Arrows very nice DVD review of DRIVEN I will see it. I thought it looked good from the previews anyway, but then everyone said it sucked. But after reading the Arrows review I have faith in this movie. The cool car crashes and kick ass soundtrack are the main reasons to see this movie, just to kick back and have fun. It sounds like a cool popcorn flick. And since it's supposed to be packed with tunes and car action, I'm sure it will be good. So I'll see it. And I want to see SOMEONE LIKE YOU because I find Ashley Judd adorable and Hugh Jackman is a cool dude, so I'll rent that as well. I didn't think SPY KIDS looked that great and I hate kiddie flicks, but since I heard it was actually a fun movie I'm kind of curious. A friend of mine is buying it so I might just borrow it from him, I don't think I'll actually spend money on seeing it. And I don't have any intentions of seeing CROCODILE DUNDEE IN LOS ANGELES. I think the previews looked corney and I heard it sucked, you don't have to tell me twice to stay away from it.

So, what will you rent this week?

Mike, I saw SOMEONE LIKE YOU in the Theaters, and I'd advise you to STAY AWAY from that AWFUL movie. Horrendusly mounted romantic comedy, I think I chuckled once, but it was downright embarrassing at times. I consider it to be worse than Joe Dirt, and that is bad. The biggest waste of my money this year despite Tomb Raider, the second biggest. If I went to the movies as often as some people, there would probably be worse ones. I'm tryin to save you some money here, but if your interest in it is high, do what you want.

I wouldn't waste my time at the video store this week, and I've already seen Spy Kids, and that was the best of the releases, it was ok.

I actually really enjoyed "Someone Like You" and "Spykids."

Spykids I was actually pleasantly surprised with. Plus my nephew who's like 9 got a big kick out of it.

Thanks for the warning but I'll still see it. I'm one of the people that will see a movie if I want to see it even if everyone hated it. I've heard some people say it sucked, and some people say it was good, so now I'm going to see for myself.

I'll probably rent "Spy Kids" and "Someone Like You". "Spy Kids" looks like it would be fun entertainment and I like Ashley Judd and Hugh Jackman, so I shouldn't mind "Someone Like You" too much. http://www.joblo.com/ubb/biggrin.gif

I'm going to rent Startup.com, and Driven. Also since I was unable to rent Along Came A Spider last week, I'll probably get it sometime this week.

Yeah, my video store fucks up all the time. It has Gossip listed as coming out this month. They screw up like that all the time.

I saw Spy Kids in the theatre and had expected it to be bad. It was suprisingly good and was pretty funny. I'm definitely renting that.
