Video game movies much? Here's a new one...

Hey everyone,
Anyone heard of the game 'American McGee's Alice?' I sure the hell hadn't. Rumor is that to follow 'Tomb Raider', this somewhat bizzare video game is gonna be made into a movie as well.

Now, I'm posting this to get some feedback. From some quick research on the game itself, it looks like one fucking TWISTED ride. I have no idea if it could be made into a movie so that's why i'm asking. Also, the rumor is that Eliza Dushku (Bring It On) is in talks to play Alice. Dushku is pretty twisted and evil in her own way, could she pull it off? I have no idea.

I've heard it was getting done, but I know nothing about it. I haven't even seen the game.

As for Eliza, she is a brilliant actress. I think she could play any role perfectly.

I saw an ad for the game in a magazine, after someone had mentioned the possibility of a movie. All I can say is: "Holy shit!" It looks very...odd, to put it mildly. I had heard a rumor placing Heather Donahue (Blair Witch Project) as a candidate for Alice...

This game is "Alice in Wonderland" through a gothic crazy's bloodshot eyes. It follows all of the story elements of the fairy tale, only it tales it in a darker, more gothic approach. Alice carries a knife around with her...ouch.

Heather Donahue? Oh jeez... I doubt it. Everyone else is saying either Christina Ricci or Lacy Chabert (spelling?) Apperantly Alice is a seriously fucked up chick, so Ricci would work pretty well. Another good person for fucked up would be Rose McGowan from 'Scream' and 'Jawbreaker' She seems a little disturbed...
Anyway, I'm a big fan of Eliza Dushku and we all know she can pull fucked up off pretty well...

I saw the game recently and then saw that they were making a movie for it. I am rather interested in it and think it's a neat twist on the Alice and Wonderland thing. I'm looking forward to it.

How about the original DINO CRISIS! I can see the reviews now! JURASSIC PARK ON ECSTASY! With Keanu Reeves or Vin Diesel playing the action lead!

Vin Diesel as Fly Taggart from Doom. That would be a great action movie. There's not much of a story, but then again I like Army of Darkness, and it is less beleiveable than Doom.
Alice could be a decent movie, it would have to be a Tim Burton since no one else does that dark movie quite as well.
