I am doing a paper on movies based on or titled after aspects of great literary works. I have made a list of the obvious-Little Women, The Dead(james joyce), all of Shakespeare etc....... but I need some less obvious ones. Any input would help me out.

Of Mice and Men, The Great Gatsby, I'm pretty sure The Thin Red Line was based on a novel. All of the Stephen King adaptations, all of the Tom Clancy and Michael Critchon adaptations. Charlotte's Web, The Silence of the Lambs, Hannibal, all of the John Grisham adaptations.

My thoughts exactly, best movie ever man.
But seriously, at least 25% of movies are based on books. It could take a while.
