i havent really met anyone famous, actually here is a very small list, that im very proud of:
Carrot Top
told you, a very small list that i am very proud of. i also met some professional extreme sporters (???), but that has nothing to do with movies.
so what famous people have you met in your life, mainly just actors, or actresses, directors, writters, whatever...
My nearest city in Wales - Swansea is home to Catherine Zeta Jones, and me and my family were going to see a production in the performing arts in the local theatre, and her and her mother and sister pulled up in a small Peugot....my, how things have changed.
Apart from that, no one, un less you know who Craig Charles is, off of Red Dwarf.
Oh, also - my English teacher was taught by none other than J.R.R Tolkien's son - Christopher.

Red Dward? I got a kick out of that show, though the actor's names mean diddly to me.
I met Michael Douglas when he was filming "Wonder Boys" here in Pittsburgh, but that's about it.

I got an autograph from John de Lancie ("Q" in "Star Trek") at a convention. I actually made eye contact with him! http://www.joblo.com/ubb/biggrin.gif
Sissy Spacek lives in my town. I've seen her around in stores and my sister played basketball against her daughter (who goes to a local private school). I've never talked to her; people mostly leave her and her family alone.

In no particular order...
- Patrick Stewart in a crowd while exiting the Broadway theater he did "A Christmas Carol" in.
- Patrick Swayze while he was filming "Ghost." He posed for a picture even.
- Jackie Chan going into a drug store
- Kevin Nealon (ex SNL cast.)
- I've exchanged email with Kevin Smith if that counts :b
- Jay Leno (not really movies but) driving a block from my house in an old fashioned car.
- And if coming out of the Tonight Show years ago counts Woody Harrelson introduced himself to my sister who was only like 12 at the time. She was flabbergasted.
- I watched Elizabeth Shue dancing through a fountain for a movie shoot that I have no idea what movie it was... never saw the movie either.
- I accidentally walked through the set of "A Story of Us" and saw Bruce Willis & Rob Reiner shooting a scene from just a few feet away.

I saw John Voight in Westwood
Yule Brenner in Palm Springs
John Malcovitch at the LA Zoo
Mark Mothersbough of Devo at a different concert (not theirs)
I shook hands with John Wayne at a market
Rod Serling at UCLA
Eric Burton at a concert
Dan Blocker at a restaurant
Took an x-ray of Dorothy Hammel (skater)
Took an autograph of Marvin Gaye (singer)
Kirk Douglas (at a book signing)
OH MY GOD Horror Whore, you are so fucking lucky, KATIE HOLMES, OH MY GOD, I wish I was you, well, not really, but I wish I could meet her. I've never met anyone famous, yet anyway.

- Berry Gordy
- Alan Thicke
- Kirk Cameron (Sitting at a taping of Full House years ago watching his sister. Back then the Olsen twins were so dang cute and boy were they making eyes at him.)
- Geraldo Rivera
- Al Roker
- Misc. As the World Turns stars
- Debbe Dunning

Well, alas, I have never met any stars but the celebrities that I have seen in person are William Shatner and Lenard Nimoy at a Star Trek convention. Also, just last fourth of July a bunch of movie stars came down here to Philadelphia to read the decleration of Independence. Some of the celebrities that were there were Kevin Spacey, Edward Norton, Morgan Freeman, Catherin Zeta-Jones, Michael Douglas, Benicio Del Toro, Winona Ryder, Kathy Bates, Mel Gibson and that is all that I can remember except that Garth Brooks performed as well although there were a lot of disappointed people because he only played one song.
Vince Carter - he spoke at my school bout some drug shit a few years ago
Monica Seles and Serene Williams (after their tennis game was over, handshake)

Last year here in Bulgaria a film was shot, called "The Grey Zone".Well, I saw Steve Buscemi and Mira Sorvino and I even wanted an autograph from Harvey Keitel (when he was resting at the hotel. As a matter of fact, I live quite near to this hotel, so I was pretty lucky, I guess). He`s one very nice person, actually.I`ve also seen Christian Slater and Val Kilmer (but he was from very far away), who also made one movie here this year.

Yeah, JoBlo. I haven't forgotten about your Katie Holmes story either.
Anyway, where I come from you see celebrities all the time! Cuz malls are the only places you can go to in here in the city (I'm from Manila, Philippines).
But I did on my trip to the US this summer, I caught Dick Clark on a domestic flight, and basically the whole cast of Rush Hour 2 in the premiere outside the Chinese Theatre, including my man Jackie Chan! Many who weren't from the cast was there too (Magic Johnson, Matthew Perry, Ang Lee, Shaq, etc.)

Hmmm, let see here.
Here are the celebs ive met at the Mall Of America:
Jon Favreau- Talked for a minute or two, and got a picture
Christopher Walken- Was w/ family (dont know if he has one, but he was with some kids and adults around his age) said hello and passed by.
Ahnuld- Like ten times, care? Neither did I.
Billy Corgan- of the Smashing Pumpkins, I told him I was a big fan and we talked for about 5 minutes, he gave me his email address and we talked for a few weeks, but havent since, really an awesome guy.
Bruce Willis- With his daughters, just said hello
Ving Rhames- AWESOME DUDE! Saw him having lunch and asked for a photo, he gave me one, and pretended to box with me (???) for a while, hes was super nice, and seemed very cool.
Kevin Smith- Oh yeah! The Big man. To tell you the truth, this till pisses me off, cuz all i said was "Hey Kevin." This was during the filming of MallRats right here in MN. I wish I would have talked more, because since ive come to love the guy.
and finally, Oliver Platt-
This guy is like, the most underatted actor working in my opinion, i think hes awesome, and we chatted a bit, just basiclly me sucking up, but oh well. Great guy.
Thats all i got.

Well, I once stared down Newt Gingrich (long story). Also, I sort of met David Cross. I was at a club where he was doing standup and he bumped into me on the way out. Oh, I've talked to the former chairman of the senate armed services commitee, Sam Nunn. I don't think you'd really count him as famous since not many people even know what administration he was under.
Other than that, my life has been pretty mediocre.
