This weeks new movies on VHS and DVD are:

ANGEL EYE'S (Jennifer Lopez)
TOWN & COUNTRY (Warren Beatty, Diane Keaton)
CAT'S AND DOGS (Jeff Goldblum)

I think ANGEL EYE'S looks good and Jennifer Lopez is FINE, I like her in her movies and this one looks like a nice classy drama. Entertainment Weekly gave ANGEL EYE'S a B-.
I also want to see TOWN AND COUNTRY, I don't care that this movie was the big Box Office bomb of the year. I think it sounds funny. The previews didn't look that great, but it still sounds funny. And it has a good cast.
I don't want to see CATS AND DOGS at all, it looks stupid. Entertainment Weekly gave it a D-. Anyway, ANGEL EYE'S and TOWN AND COUNTRY are the only two I want to see this week.

What will you rent?
If you've seen any of them what did you think of them? What would you give them for a grade?

Yuck none of them. Unfortunately, all the leftover summer movies that I haven't seen, like Fast and the Furious, aren't out on video yet.

I'll probably rent "Cats and Dogs." http://www.joblo.com/ubb/wink.gif It looks like it might be a pretty entertaining film even if it had mixed reviews.

I might rent "Angel Eyes" depening on if I want to or not tomorrow.

I'll definitely rent Angel Eyes. It didn't get critical praise, but looks decent. I already got to see Cats and Dogs, which was a tad below what I expected it to be, that 6/10. Town and Country, NO FREAKIN' WAY. It doesn't matter if I like Beatty as an actor.

Seen "Cats & Dogs" (C+) and "Angel Eyes" (B+), but would rent again possibly. Would rent "Town & Country" only to see if it's as God-awful as everyone says.

I've seen ANGEL EYES. Not bad. I walked out of TOWN AND COUNTRY. I have absolutely no interest in CATS AND DOGS.

Seen all of 'em in the theater. CATS & DOGS is your best bet; it's zippy, fun, and inventive (love the Russian kitten assassin). Too bad it's a bit loud at times, and the human actors are dreadfully stiff.

ANGEL EYES features fine performances from Jim Caviezel and Jennifer Lopez, but the script sure takes its leisurely time building up empty suspense to a poor conclusion.

TOWN & COUNTRY is like TOMCATS for senior citizens. 'Nuff said.

Maybe I should've saved one of these for video; I ended up renting REPLICANT on video and CROCODILE DUNDEE IN LOS ANGELES on DVD.
