Very, very, very good movie!! Just dont expect the graphic modern effects of today, it more about the performance of George C Scott, one of the greatest you'll ever see!!

Patton is my favorite war movie. I watch it about four times a year. George C.Scott is amazing.

"Now I want you to remember that no bastard ever won a war by dying for his country. He won it by making the other poor dumb bastard die for his country." -Patton

the real life patton was a bit of an arse though.... famous for rescuing the para troopers that were surounded.... they didn't at one time ask to be saved and would have likely defended that possition forever! lol

Ya, I loved Patton. Probably on my top 3 war films. The acting was great and I just loved how the score and the screenplay fit together perfectly. If you like Scott's performance in this, check out Dr. Strangelove.
