View Full Version : The Britney-movie
I have just seen the trailer for "Crossroads", the Britney Spears movie, and to be honest, it looks goddamn awful. I was just wondering, is there anyone who is going to see it?
It looks like popstars don't have much luck when it comes to movies lately. Glitter, Honest (starring All Saints), On The Line, Bones, The Wash, ... all bombed. So I fear there's not much hope for the Britney-movie as well, is there. What do you think, should they stick to their profession, and don't act at all, and should Eminem be shot for wanting to try? For all I know it could be another "Cold As Ice" ...

The ones that I think that have(or had) potential are:
1. Ice Cube
2. Queen Latifah
3. (this goes without saying): Will Smith
4. Aaliyah(God Rest Her Soul).
5. LL Cool J
6. Whitney Houston(if you don't believe me, watch "The Bodyguard", or "Waiting To Exhale".
7. (maybe)Mya.
Oh, and I also read on a website about a kid that gets magical sneakers, and ends up playing pro basketball. The kid will be played by rapper Lil'Bow Wow. As far as Britney Spears is concerned, I don't really like her music, so I more than likely won't go to see the movie.

Oh, and there's one more that I forgot to mention: (God Rest His Soul)Tupac Shakur.

One actor who became famous through her musical abilities (though I think she has none) is Cher, She is a great actress who is barely rivaled by many other female actress' and if you do not believe me I strongly recommend you see the movie Mask (No, not the one with Jim Carey).
