Actually, and to be honest, my ratings for movies are based on those set by JoBlo (all credit is for him, sure). I rate movies with marks from 0 to 10 (most of us do so, i guess). and just like JoBlo evry mark refer to the quality of this movie and that.

well, the point is: how do you count the marks for each film? For me, I split the 10 into two parts: 5 for the fun I get from the film (entetaining value) and 5 for the material, i.e: the coherence of the script, the direction, the performances, the IDEA, the story, the costumes.. music and so on.

Example.. how I rated JP3: the script is shit and the performances sucked. The director did nothing rather than getting the most help possible from CGI experts to cover the horrible material on which the film is based (1/5). As an entertaining piece of **cough** art, I almost killed myself before it’s finished coz it was the same thing like in the previous films. still, it had some cool CG dinos and some very little thrilling moments (2/5). All in all it gets a 3/10, which means very bad.
