I just heard a snippet of an interview with Mira Sorvino, where she says that some of her friends (actresses) inisit on actually having sex in sex scenes during movies. She said she doesn't do it but that there are many who do.

I thought that this was interesting.

Oh, come on, you can't believe everything you hear! I'm willing to grant that it may have happened in a few "underground" productions, but in a big-studio film? I doubt many performers could enjoy having actual sex when there's so much going on around them, in front of all these people. Yeah I know the set would be closed to all "nonessential" personnel, but it still must be uncomfortable.

If it was true, I think we would've heard about it by now, there's no way this sort of thing could stay down for long. People love Hollywood gossip, and you can imagine how this sort of thing would have spread like wildfire.

Conclusion: Mira's talking bullshit. Don't know why though.

Mickey Rourke and Carre Otis supposedly had real sex in Wild Orchid. I've read it in a Micky Rourke biography and they were dating at the time so I buy it. Also knowing Rourke's unorthodox methods...I wouldn't be surprised...

I'm totally with Cy on this one...how could something this big keep so quiet all this time and only slowly get leaked out thru an internet site.
No this would have spread instantly...Hollywood is one of the most looked upon institutions for gossip in the world, people would have eaten this up and actors would ahve been put down severly for it.
Doing it even with only those essential few in the room, is still gonna be odd, i don't see it actaully happening, in main stream hollywood productions, and i extremely doubt Sharon Stone did it.

Altho rumour has it that porn movies have actual intercourse in it!!!

And come on it is not hard at all to believe Mick would do something like that.

I would not consider Ron Jeremy a surprise either in this category but to lump him in with other regular actors is giving him a lot of credit, he could have his own thread on this subject.

I do not think your average actor does this but I have no doubt that some do especially ones that are already involved or get the while we made the movie hots for each other.

I am sure many things happen in Tinsel Town that remain quiet even in todays media rich society.
