Has anyone heard the buzz on the new Paul Thomas Anderson movie that's slated to star Adam Sandler. I'm very curious to see this, as I'm a fan of Anderson's former movies, and have actually liked Sandler's roles. I say actually, as I've met few people who are big fans of both.
The new flick is to star Sandler, who is reprising a role from SNL where he has a call-in show devoted to his ex-girlfriend (THe Denise Show - I think) and will costar Phillip Seymore Hoffman and other PT Anderson allumni.
Also, it's going to be only 89 minutes long, a big departure from epics like Boggie Nights and Magnolia.
Keep me posted with any info you have on this one.

www.ptanderson.com (http://www.ptanderson.com) is the best site with updates on this flick, in fact, it's the only site that p.t. anderson calls his official site. I have nothing to do with them, but I promise you that they hear the s**t first, straight from the director's mouth...

Thanks Brock! Your post was magic!
Now I need to take that magic, and get over to the PT Anderson site.

Nice reference to Dirk Diggler's music recording career /ubb/wink.gif I dig John C. Reilly in that scene...
"He... will.. rock you,
heee... willlll... rollllll.. youuuu,
Baby.... Don't... you kno- owwwww,
My Heeeeat... will moveeee... your sou- olllll."
(CHORUS): "Come On, Come on, come on, come on!)
Just remember it's a YP, not an MP... it's a catch-22.

Actually the song Dirk sings, "You got the touch!" Is pretty much the same as "The Touch" which is played in Transformers: The Movie. They also use it in "The Return of Optimus Prime." Pretty funny bit of movie music trivia.
That PTAnderson site is great. I found it once before, but had forgotten about it. Some of the trivia from Magnolia is amazing. The whole 82 bit and the stuff about Masons. A funny thing I found out, the 82nd Mason lodge is located in where? MAGNOLIA, Arkansas

Are you serious about the Arkansas thing? cause thats just weird . . . My dad is a freemason, and he wont tell me anything they do, so i said "we met on the level and depart on the square" or whatever the exact quote is, i had written it down, and he got all frumpy. yes, frumpy.
