View Full Version : the matrix 2 & 3
yo man,
first I want to say that the matrix is my favorite movie. What afucking good story, cast and story. The special effects are amazing and I really like Hugo weaving.I've heard that the agents can transform into a wombat
and can crawl into another body.I can't wait to see how that is going to look man.I also have read a rumor that the wachoski brothers have less budget than with part one. That means there gonna find cheap workers (what they already did for part one) or they gonna have to put less special effects in it.Another solotion is to replace some actors by some that work for less money.I think they can work it out and I'm convinced that the can make and complete part 2 and 3.

Less money? How is that possible? Sequels ALWAYS get more budget, if the first one has been succesful.
I'm looking forward to the sequels, even if I wasn't hugely impressed by the first part. It was a good film (7/10), but not great.
Warner brothers won't spend to much on the sequels because they are trying to give others projects more money.I know it sound strange, because the matrix was a big hit since it didn't worked out for a while.
The Matrix was a very good film, slightly overrated, but very good all the same. I would like to see how the Wachowski brothers handle the continuation of the story to find the last living-human city, i cannot remember the name of the city, but it's a strange name.

ZION!
Has anyone checked out the new Matrix II pictures at AICN? They show these virus guys in long silver coats, pretty much like the long black coat Keanu wore in the Matrix. And, the cars look awesome too.
I am really looking forward to these films now and i feel they can only get better, if done as they should.
Whoa! the coats and the car look very cool man! And i can ashore you that the wachowski brothers make the sequels very well,so the result is maybe better than the original.
One major thing that dissapointed me about The Matrix was that it was just a hollow film. No emotional core, well, i certainly didn't feel one anyway.
I hope the Wachowski's don't just concentrate on the special effects this time around, like they abviously did with the first film, plus, the story was a bit shallow in the first. I think the Matrix II should be a perfect opportunity to build upon the problems within the Matrix, although, don't get me wrong, the Matrix was a very good film.
I've heard that the wachoski brothers are going to let us see that neo is struggling with his superpower. It seems that they wanna make him more human with at leat some emotion.I hope it doesn't leads to dramatic scenes because that does not belong in a sequels like this.It would be a movie like crouching tiger, hidden dragon: action scenes combined with drama.Which is good by the way,but is it wouldn't fit in a trilogy of the matrix.I hope that the wachoski brothers will make up there mind to let neo stay how he was in part one: just the one with special 'gifts'.I think that next to the special effects there is going to be a intelligent script just like in the first part.
