I can't wait for April to roll around. For one this winter weather has been brutal and second the upcoming flicks.

If I go week by week I'd have to say the following:
April 6- The competition begins between Along Came a Spider and Blow. Just Visiting may just be that. There is very little on this film other than the good looking ladies in it.

April 13- I love Renee and the chick flick Bridget Jones will do well (this years Notting Hill). Josie and the Pussycats may win the week because of the teen interest plus those of us who remember the cartoon might want to see what it is all about. Joe Dirt might get left in the dust.

April 20- I can see who Town and Country and Freddy Got Fingered are targeted to go see it, but I think Dundee in LA should have been released earlier. This week would have been a good week for it.

April 27- This could be Stallone's last stand with Driven. There is no real competition. Wankin' up in Reno could be the first real flop of the year. It is about Monster Truck fans with Patrick Swayze and Billy Bob need I say more.

What do guys think about this coming month?

All I can say about Driven is that it looks really ridiculous. Stallone was on Leno last night and showed a clip, even he seemed embarassed. The clip involved Stallone chasing this kid he's mentoring in race cars down the middle of the street at night because the kid was pissed a girl dumped him or something. This looks like a mix of Days of Thunder and Rocky V where Stallone is trying to be the father-figure, mentor type. If this movie bombs, Stallone should be banned from making movies. April looks like a crappy month. I wish May would get here, Pearl Harbor and Mummy 2.

i'm not to thrilled about the films coming out next month, looks like a bog standard average one to me. Blow looks like my pick out of them lot.

I'm going with Blow. There is something to be said for the big return of Paul Reubens.

I'd say Blow. There is something to be said about Paul Reubin's first big role in almost 13 years.
The trailer looks amazing. They let the direstor cut it, something that seldom happens.

Stallone, well I like him. Sure he can't act, no talent and is indecipherable but he has spirit and i like his staying power.

I think Dolan's Cadillac will bring him back into the good books.

April isn't really that big of a month for new movies, the real games begin in March... But I do want to see a few movies that come out in April, they are:

Along Came A Spider

Josie And The Pussycats

Town And Country (I kind of want to see it, probably wait for video)

Freddy Got Fingered

Joe Dirt (I kind of want to see it, but I'm sure I'll wait for video)

Just Visiting: (looks alright, I'll mainly see it for the babes, including Tara Ried, I'm sure it will flop but I think it looks ok and I'll eventually see it, probably on video...)

I'm also a HUGE Renee Zellweger fan but I don't really want to see Bridget Jones Diary. I might when it comes out on video but who knows... I also kind of want to see Blow but I'll wait for video for that too... Anyway, April isn't really that big of a month... Can't wait for May...
