Ok here it is the terminator 3 what do u guys think. We got no James cameron and no Linda hamilton how do u guys think theyll pull it of and how could they ressurect the story.
Well, me and my friends were pondering the other day about how the story could continue, and then we realised that an arm still exists - the one Arnie ripps off that has been caught in the giant cog, this has a chip in it, thus this could ressurect the story, not sure.
I just hope its better than the second film...

HEY THAT WAS NOT AK'S IDEA!!!
we all came up with that as a group!!!
As the chip remained in his arm, they had the idea of cloning or at least a form of cloning therefore bringin about good ol Arnie to the set once again!!!
but do we reckon furlong should be in the third one?
i mean i really like him as an actor and he could be good for the movie...i dunno.

IMDB (http://us.imdb.com/Title?0181852) has said that Arnie is in. Furlong is in. Cameron is set to direct. Obviously, Hamilton will not be involved as her and James are no longer friendly. I assume it would be somewhat in the future, (Linda's character would be dead). It is set to be released July 3, 2002.
By the way, really creative thinking on the arm in the cog thing. Never thought of that before!

I'm sorry, you were right. So far it says Cameron is only credited for creating the characters. So far the script is credited to Tedi Sarafian (the same guy who wrote Tank Girl). Now although Tank Girl was a good film, it was weird. Not sure if this guy could do a Terminator.
For Producers they have (surprisingly) ALL of the same producers as Basic Instict 2. Does this mean that John McTiernan might be going in on Teriminator as well? I guess we'll see.

i think terminator is done with. if they were going to make it a trilogy they should have done a long time ago, not waited a few years. now the whole terminator thing is old and dead. maybe im wrong and it will actually turn out to be really good, but i dont think it is what people want to see anymore.
Maybe they have been waiting for some technological advancements, plus, the project has been hanging on for a director for some time now.
I would love to see another Terminator film, i just hope it completes and competes with the first two films.
If this film is better than expectation, it could well turn these films into one of the greatest trilogies ever made.

The latest I've heard is that Cameron is not going to direct, just produce, and that Carrie Anne Moss is in talks to be the female terminator. This all comes from the web, so take it with a huge grain of salt.
Even though pretty darn different films, i think people would make too many associations with The Matrix and The Terminator, so this rumour seems unlikely.

I think they should have made a prequel about the future war and how John Connor saves Kyle Reece from the skynet death camps and how he gos into the past or something.

I wonder what role Arnie would play ?? A mid-age terminator that has lost most of his muscles ? Maybe he can play the role of the guy who invented the prototype of the Terminator ?

We'll just have to wait and see.
