ALright... The second two Indy movies, both of which are good, are on dvd. But the first, and best Indy movie, Raiders of the Lost Ark, is not on Dvd?

Does anyone know why? Does anyone know if and when its coming?

Possibly a special edition trilogy on dvd?

Last year were the 20 years of RAIDERS. I was hoping they would get it out on DVD for the occasion, but they didn't. I'm surprised there's such a hype around the anniversary of E.T, but no one thought of anything special about Indy...

I didn't know ANY of them were on DVD.

none of them are. My guess is that they might come out with the dvds while the fourth is in theaters, for huge publisity or somthing. And when the fourth comes to video, they will bring out a boxset.

My guess is they'll wait for the big 25-year anniversary (2006). It's far away, but you never know, the movie may not be released til then (if Spielberg does Ghost Soldiers and maybe something else first).

You're right, but none of them are on DVD. There is a website i found about 1 1/2 years ago, an Indy fansite but i do not remember the name. I guess it's www.indyfan.com (http://www.indyfan.com) so it reported over 1 1/2 year ago that Lucasfilm.ltd or whatever will be releasing special Annyversary Trilogy in 2002, well 2002 is here so all we gotta do is WAIT!

Well, if they are going to make us wait, and wait, and wait, than these DVD`s better have so many extras that we`e never be able to finish looking all of them through in one lifetime.
