2002 - Not only the year that the so-called revolutionary "ginger" invention is to be released, but the year in what must be a massive coincidence - the second parts of three very popular trilogies coming out in the same year. It's mind boggling.
The most tasking question here, and it must be asked - Which one will be the most successful?
At the moment it is almost impossible to tell, as the first part of LOTR has not been released, but going by the success of The Phantom Menace and The Matrix we can predict their success more so that LOTR.
Episode II will be released in the summer, but in the christmas of 2002 The Two Towers and The Matrix II will almost be going head to head. This, my friends, will be most interesting.
Depending on how The Fellowship of the Ring is recieved by audiences, this could make or brake the most successful of the two.
Of course, it not all about success, but this topic has to arise from such a situation, which, frankly, will never happen again.
