Josie and the Pussycats - a good movie?

I've read about 8 reviews for this movie and I think 7 of them have been positive. I was almost positive that this movie would suck but maybe it will turn out to be the Charlie's Angels of this year.

Same here, dude. I thought it was gonna suck the big one also, but from what I've been reading, I'll be going in with even more of an open mind tonight. Expect the review up by tomorrow morning.

I wouldn't bet the farm on that, guys. Go to rottentomatoes.com. They will have a few more negative reviews, I'm sure. Bridget Jones sounds like a better bet.

I actually want to see it... But I don't think it's doing a great job of advertising, the previews don't make it look that great... But the hot chicks and fun storyline with some funky songs will get me into theaters. I plan on eventually seeing it in theaters, It might be this next weekend, it's possibilty...
Anyway, even though it isn't doing that great of a job advertising I still think it's going to do good at the box office. I just have a feeling... I think it has a good shot at being number one...

If Josie and the Pussycats makes more money than Bridget Jones's Diary I am ready to concede that American audiences have zero taste in movies. Sure the guys will like staring at the cutesy pie girls, but what exactly is the draw for the audience members with X chromosomes?

Mike if Josie and the PuddyCats comes out at #1 I will streak across this board But-Naked.
I watched Josie and the PussyCats as a kid on Saturday morning cartoons and my prediction is this movie will be comparable to Inspector Gadget on many levels
1. It will fucking Suck /ubb/tongue.gif

2. It will be an embarrasment to the cartoon (see Rocky & Bullwinkle and the soon to be released Scooby Doo)

3. It will fucking Suck Suck Suck!

Josie and the PussyCats is further proof that HollyWood is running out of Good material and is readjusting its target audience to pre-pubescent boys & girls. What the movie company is also shooting for here ultimately is to also have a hit soundtrack with another Corporate Created Group, (ex. see Spice Girls, Making of the Band, Edens Crush, ect...) I can't bare to write anymore and now feel my IQ has dropped ten points by even entering into the discussion of whether Josie & the PussyCats will be a good movie.

I'm sorry but I just think it will be the number one movie, it looks like a fun, brainless flick with cool colors, pretty girls, and fun music to get your feet tapping... Anyway, a lot of people like fun brainless movies and I think it's gauranteed to do good... Anyway, it's even getting pretty good reviews, so it must at least be somewhat entertaining... I don't know about you but when I go to the movies I look to have a good time and I'm sure I'd have a good time at it. Besides, I like music movies, I love ones with flashy colors and fun music and I just think it will be good. Plus, JoBlo didn't think it was that bad... Anyway, I think it will be fun and I'm looking forward to seeing it, if you don't want to see it fine, but I do... Like I said, it isn't doing that good of a job advertising, the previews make it look kind of lame, but it's sounds fun and Tara Reid and Rachel Leigh Cook are hot, what can I say...

I do have to agree though the girls look Hot, but your 100% guaranteed no T&A. You might as well rent the Spice Girls World Tour. Girl Power!!

I think a 6/10 is good, it's not GREAT, but it's good... Anyway, I just saw the previews to it again and I really want to see it even more. I just think it looks like a fun rockin' movie... I'll definately be at the theater for this movie...

I LOVED THIS MOVIE...
I just saw it and it is the best movie I have seen so far this year... It was so fun, I liked it better than CHARLIE'S ANGELS...

This movie looks terrible. I'll probably watch it when it comes on TBS or something. Tara Reid is hot tho.
