My pick for MOVIE OF THE WEEK!
This weeks new movies on VHS/DVD are:
"O"
Don't Say A Word
Hardball
Balto 2: Wolf Quest
I am so damn happy, "O" is finally coming to VHS/DVD. I absolutely loved the movie, it was a brilliant film and one of the best of 2001. I saw it twice in theaters, I'd give it a 9/10. And I'm also glad they are giving it a good DVD release, it will be a 2 Disc Deluxe Edition DVD, it sure deserves it. "O" is one of the most underrated films of the year and I highly recommend it. DON'T MISS IT! I can't wait to go buy the DVD after work Tuesday.
Don't Say A Word looks pretty decent, I heard Brittany Murphy is really good in it. I'll check it out.
Hardball looks "OK" but nothing more, someday I might check it out but I'm not in a hurry.
And I'll have to pass on Balto 2: Wolf Quest.
What will you rent this week?
If you've seen any of the movies what did you think of them? What would you give them for a grade?

I didn't see what was so great about "O"...(5/10) I'm not gonna rent that.
I will rent Don't Say A Word though because it looks like it'll be pretty good...

Well, this week, the only movie I'm gonna buy is Don't Say A Word. I was thinking about buying Hardball. But then again, I liked it, but it's not something I would watch again. So, I think I'll pass on that flick. As for "O", I will definitely rent this. I've been looking forward to seeing it for some time.

I will invest money into buying both "O" and Don't Say A Word. I enjoyed both flicks at the theatre and would give them grades of 8/10 ("O") and 7/10 (DSAW). I think Don't say a word is really underrated, I mean it was a good, fun, thrilling movie that had it's flaws but still entertained me. I will probably rent Hardball, maybe, I didn't see it in theatres even though I wanted to and at that time I was saying to myself "Definetly gotta rent that one" but since then I've kind of lost interest in the film, so I don't know. If Hearts In Atlantis is all checked out I'll give hardball a shot. Maybe...

I'll rent both "O" and Don't Say A Word. "O" looked great plus I just can't resist a movie with Julia Stiles http://www.joblo.com/ubb/biggrin.gif

Don't Say a Word sucks bigtime! I was really let down because the previews/commercials look great, and I love Michael Douglas, Famke Janssen and Brittney Murphy, but the movie was just so BAD!!! Britteny was good enough that you may want to rent it for her, but otherwise I'd say avoid it!
I'll be renting "O". It looked really good. I love Julia Stiles, and I also love the Othello (Shakespare) story. I'll be renting this one on Tuesday.
I'll rent Hardball, but I won't rush to get it. I doubt I'll be renting Balto 2 anytime soon.

This week I would rent "O." I thought that motion picture was actually very good. Tim Blake Nelson did a very good job at directing. If it was in any other person's hands, it would be a mess. I saw "O" last year on opening and I was stunned. I give "O" 9.5/10 for the impeccable acting talents of Joshua Hartnett, Julia Stiles, and the underrated Mekhi Phifer.

All three were good, but Josh Hartnett's performance definitely stands out the most. He was amazing, absolutely amazing. Even though we are supposed to hate his character, we really don't. Although I didn't agree with some of the things he did I really couldn't hate him, no matter how hard I tried. His performance in "O" is one of the best of the year, he's a very underrated actor.

If that's how you felt about the character then he nailed it because that's exactly how the Iago character in Othello is. Now I really can't wait to see O!
