Funniest mis-cast for the mothman in "The mothman prophesies"

After seeing this movie, some friends and I where discussing who would be funny to of cast as the moth man. My pick was Woody Allen. Some of my friends thought bill Cosby would be funny. Think about either of those often imitated voices over the phone during that scene with Gere. That would be funny! "Who are you!?" (phone)"You take the pudding, and den It's J E L L O!" This is a goldmine of a joke. Alot of people would make the role really funny. Who would you cast?
