i just picked up the new issue of ew and it said that the next insallment of the child's play would be called the silence of the dolls. what the heak?!! Is This true ?

Chucky's Bride was a comedy, but what about the 3 fisrts, were they comedies ?

(I saw them but I was younger than 14y/o ...)

They were all horror I think ?
If so, why did they choose to make comedies instead?

Well, the way I see it they didn't want to fall into a trap like Halloween or The Exorcist with uncountable sequels. They wanted to keep Chucky fresh by doing a comedy.
I thought Bride of Chucky was great.
