I'm looking forward to it just because it has Squaresoft attached to it. From what I've read though, it seems that the plot has been done more than a few times, unlike..hmmm, let's see....Final Fantasy VII?

Not really like Shrek. You should watch the trailer for it.

"Final Fantasy" looks to be interesting in that it's treated like a japanime film. The mature storyline, voice actors and flawless animation (or in this case, CGI) are all worth taking time to check out. I'm also very interested in "Schreck" (looks to be a great twist on fairy tales, with Dreamworks promising something along the lines of "Chicken Run") and "Monsters Inc." (trailer clues us in to a film with a great sense of humor about it, and being made by Pixar certainly helps).

This movie is going to (hopefully) kick some major ass. I've heard reports that it isn't AS great as you might hope (i.e., the voices are a little off and don't quite match their characters) but from the looks of the trailer, I'm ready to go for FF. Plus, if this film does well, it's a big boost for so-called "adult animation". Maybe we'll get some more animated films that don't have a musical number every two seconds.
