I just watched it yesterday on AMC
Indian Jones and The Temple of Doom
So the part when Indy and that girl escape from the chinese bar and this little kid drives em away, you can clearly see the name of the bar....which is Obi Wan It's obvious if George Lucas was involved he maybe wanted to put something from his work like Star Wars, so people can recognize that he's working on Indy too. http://www.joblo.com/ubb/biggrin.gif

Speilberg did that. It was his idea. He did many Star Wars references in his earlier movies.

I noticed that quite a while back, and chuckled - They like they're in-jokes!
There are many more throughout the films, just like Artoo and Threepio as wall carvings or ancient writing.
Also, the plane that flies Indy off in Raiders has some kind of C-3PO lettering on it (not in that exact same form though).

its a well-known fact that GL and Spielberg are buddies, and they always reference each other, like the ET's in Episode 1

Yeah the club is called "Club Obi-Wan", and it was Spielberg's idea.
One thing I always noted about Indy and STAR WARS, it's that the trilogies are built the same way:
1°) RAIDERS OF THE LOST ARK is pure adventure, STAR WARS is pure sci-fi space opera
2°) TEMPLE OF DOOM and EMPIRE STRIKES BACK are both the darkest movies of their respective trilogies
3°) LAST CRUSADE and RETURN OF THE JEDI are the two lightest movies in the series, and could almost be considered as comedy sometimes (especially LAST CRUSADE)

I love the Star Wars reference in Indiana Jones. I noticed them when I was six or seven or something and I was reading those big books that tell the whole story in simple words with big pictures. There was a series for Star Wars, Indiana Jones and The Black Hole, but I don't remember what they were called now...

Can anybody list all the references from Star Wars to Indy Trilogy? http://www.joblo.com/ubb/biggrin.gif

I'd love too see these things. It's funny!
