ok, i watched PULP FICTION for the first time the other night. it was extremely late and i didn't understand some things:

what was BRUCE WILLIS's deal in the whole movie?

whose apartment did BRUCE go into when he had to retrieve his watch?

please help me out....thanks.

i don't really understand what you mean by "deal" elaborate and i'm sure someone could help you out. the apartment he went into was his apartment.

Its breaks down like this...

Bruce Willis (Butch) is paid by Marcellius Wallace to throw a fight but he doesn't (which of course pisses him off.)

Butch has made some bets on the fight and made some great money out of it, so he and his wife are off...but she forgets his watch (a watch his father carried up his arse during Vietnam...I think?) and he goes back to his apartment to get it.

Maybe you fell asleep or something...

I have a question too....when Jules and Vincent are first in the coffee shop, they are talking about somebody who was "totally cool, even when you were fuckin with him." and they thought he was british or english at first. Who are they talking about? The only person I can think of was Butch, but they haven't seen him yet.

Was there ever an official explanation as to what was in the briefcase, or should we just assume that it was gold of some kind?

Is there hidden meaning to the band-aid on the back of Wallace's neck? Or am I reading too much into it?

there are alot of theories of what was in the briefcase and about the band-aid on marsellus' neck. the strangest one i've heard is that marsellus's soul is in the briefcase and it was taken out of the back of his neck. another one about the briefcase i have heard is that it's the diamonds from reservoir dogs,why diamonds would cast a glow like that i don't know. my take on the briefcase is i have no clue whats in it,as for the band-aid i think ving rhames had just hurt himself because if you watch the film baby boy there is a shot of him where they show the back of his nack and he has a nasty scar on it.

The band-aid doesnt mean shit to the film.Tarantino has said the reason for it is because Ving Rhames cut his neck shaving, and the make up lady gave him a band-aid to cover it up.end of story.
