We all know in the theatre some people can be annyone, have you ever told someone something or done something to make others know you were getting upset, here are some things i did.

Anaconda, first of all this wasn't scary, and everytime the snake would appear some lady would scream, i got tired of it and i said justlike this "Would you please just shut up", didn't hear to much after that, i guess it worked.

Another movie i saw they had this little kids just laughing in the back and throwing stuff, i yelled "if you dont shutup, im coming up there"..i think they eventually just left the movie.

Of course I know i have been the annoying one before, but thats another topic.. http://www.joblo.com/ubb/smile.gif

I yelled on a kid, once. He was sitting behind me and he had been kicking the back of my chair for an hour and a half, and he didn't listen to his parents who were nicely asking him to stop. So I just finished by turning around and yelling him a "WILL YOU STOP THE F*** UP???" that kind of made his mother blemish.
Kid, if you're readin' this....sorry, little guy. http://www.joblo.com/ubb/tongue.gif

But usually I'm the tolerant kind of guy...that was the one time I tasted the Dark Side. http://www.joblo.com/ubb/biggrin.gif

I've only done it once, and it was to these two really annoying pre-teen kids who just wouldn't shut the hell up. It was the most inconciderate thing I'd ever seen. They weren't paying any attention to the movie, just screaming out some dumbass conversation. I finally told them to "shut the fuck up" and they did.

The movie was Corky Romano, so at least I didn't miss anything good. http://www.joblo.com/ubb/smile.gif

i'm always the one that says their going to say something soon and then doesn't.i always get really really pissed off at the annoying people but i have never actually got the nerve to yell at somebody.besides, usually somebody else does.

I have to say that I embarrassed myself last weekend at Panic Room (BTW, 9/10, best movie so far this year IMHO). The theatre was packed so this group of what seemed at the time to be 37 15-year-old girls (although I think it was more like four or five) sat next to my girlfriend and I, and the whole way through they were chatting, screaming (and not at the scary parts) and...

Finally, nearing the very end of the film, I yelled "Shut up!" at them, quite loudly. The whole theater turned around and looked at me, then went back to the movie. And the girls gave me dirty looks and were quiet the rest of the time. I felt so embarrassed that I yelled that loudly though.

Never in a movie that I can remember, my brother is normally quicker on the draw...

But, once in an Arbys after a night of drinking and tom foolery we were munching down breakfast when this family came in and after ten minutes of nothing but crying from their kid I said rather loudly, "Will someone shut that little bastard up." Not one of my proudest moments but the kid did get shushed and I ate my roast beef in peace and harmony.... http://www.joblo.com/ubb/smile.gif

Lol bluntman, I am the same as you. The most I do now is the "half-turn" in their direction...but not if they are bigger than me.

I do always talk about them after the movie.

"I was gonna tell that guy to shut the fuck up, but I choked on my popcorn."

That's right, I am real macho.

Many, many, many years ago I went to see Mighty Ducks II. I was young - 6th grade. I had recently broken my hand (in a fight, no less).

Early on, some little group of dillweeds behind me wouldn't shut up. I turned around and told them to shut up. They threw popcorn at me. I held up my cast, and said, "I have a cast on that can crack cement if I hit it hard enough. I will smash this into your skull unless you shut your goddam mouths!"

They shut up.

I normally let one of the rage-aholics sitting in the theater take care of the dumbasses. One thing I have done is whenever there is a baby in the theater who even makes one little squeal I go the manager after the movie complaining about the little brat crying throughout the movie. The effect is two fold. Obviously I get a free movie. Secondly, maybe at some point people will get sick of giving away free tickets and actually prevent stupid parents from taking young kids to movies they shouldn't be at. I mean there is no good reason to take anyone under the age of 10 to Black Hawk Down (my last bad movie experience). Some dumbass redneck dad took 3 young kids to the movie, two of which began to cry. Times like me this makes me wonder if China has it right with getting a permit to have a child. Makes sense to me.

My favourtie is when parents take their babies and small children to midnight showings... The most memorable would be Childs Play 3... NOthing but kids running around and crying babies but their parents did get their night out...
