I know, I have all 4 of the trailers. I was just kidding, because people always say trailers give away too much... This would be like saying the titanic trailer gave away too much. YOU KNOW THE SHIP FU*KING SUNK!

I posted this in my topic but no1 has responded so hopefully sum1 will in this topic!
i was wondering if the film is going to 2 do ot enemy at the gates did with its trailer with the falling bomb scene! Any1 who has seen both the trailer and the movie with know that the still images of soldiers shot that appear in the trailer do not appear in the movie! i hope this isnt the case with pearl harbor! one thing that worries me about this mouth watring film is the fact that it deals with after the events of pearl harbor! now this is where a film like titanic didnt slip up it left us to think what happened to the surviving characters! i hope this doesnt ruin "titanic with bombs"!

My friend, who works in a theatre, told me that this movie is going to be 3 hours long! There were two Pearl Harbor attacks, which lasted only approximately 25 minutes each. So about 50 minutes is all the Pearl Harbor attack is going to be in the movie! The other 2 hours is going to be a romance story. *Cough Titanic Cough*

Well, there's is going to be more action than just the attack. There is also going to be some scenes from the Battle of Britain and the Doolittle Raid at the end. It'll probably be just like Titanic where the audience slept until the big boat went under and everyone went "OOOOOOOOOO" and it'll gross over 300 million easy.

This movie looks sick! It's gonna be the highest grossing film of the year no doubt and im gonna be one of the first in line.

I saw the TV commercials, and I must say, it looks very Michael-Bayesque--just like Armageddon.
Why do I have a bad feeling all of a sudden? /ubb/frown.gif

I know this sounds corny...but last night, I had a bad dream about it. I dreamt that I saw it, and for the bulk of its three-hour length, it was the most boring thing in the world--until the climatic attack on the naval base, which perked things up a bit, but it was too little, too late. /ubb/frown.gif
Is this a prophetic omen? Judge for yourself, my fellow schmoes. /ubb/frown.gif

The trailer is the best one since Fight Club's. Although it only shows the attack the movie looks fantastic. If you look close at one part you can see a japanese plane shoot a guy and blood fly out of him.

The trailer reminds me of Emmerichs "The Patriot" last summer and that one was pathetic beyond all recognition...

Have you seen Clear and Present Danger?! It has a similar bombing in it. In that movie you also follow a bomb till it hits the target.

lebowski, those were my thoughts exactly! Everyone i know thought, "oh my god, the patriot looks good!" and low and behold, it sucked the all mighty wang. But my friends, who enjoy 1 dimensional charcters and overblown action, loved it. Im positive its going to be the same with pearl harbor. Yet, im still seeing it, hoping that ill be wrong.

The official trailer looks great, but I'm don't really like the music that's used in it. The first part of the trailer they used the lovetheme score from The Crow. The second part of the trailer, I don't know if that's original Pearl Harbor music. I hope that the music used in the first part isn't used in the film, because when I hear it, I hear (and see) The Crow and NOT Pearl Harbor. I find it so unoriginal when classical filmmusic from an older film is used in a new and totally different film.
