Hi, I really want to do my work experience at a television or film studios, or somewhere to do with film and tv production. I've already applied for the BBC but it's very unlikely that they will take me as they get thousands of applicants. Does anyone have any suggestions of places I could apply to somewhere in the South of England, thanks for your help.

*L*</font>You could always try to contact the major Hollywood studios and see if there are any productions you could work/intern on in that area?

Thanks for the help but unfortunately I live in England so Hollywood isn't really possible!

How about Pinewood Studios?
Or Guy Ritchie, he's English, he must have
his offices there. Or Hugh Grant?
Who else is from England.
Try to find out the names of English
filmmakers production companies, give
them a call, and get an internship.
Can you go to France? They make a
million movies there. Just try to
contact someone.

Yeah, we make a million movies here in France, but 99.9% of them are done with very small budgets and they don't employ a lot of people, especially if you don't speak any French. So that won't work out either.

Yes, but if you contacted them they might have some things going on IN your area. That's what I meant. Find out if any of them are shooting or working on projects in England. HQ might be here in Hollywood but they do productions all over the world.
