Without a doubt, Michael J. Fox. I met him years ago before his illness went public and he was gracious and generous with his time. When I met him again recently, he was exactly the same, taking time to write thoughtful autographs even when it was obviously hard for him to write.

Susan Willis. Not a huge movie star, but an actress nonetheless. I met her at a screening of The Majestic where I live and she was so nice! We talked for a good five minutes about that movie and about Frank Darabont and his other movies. Talking to her was like talking to a friend (she laughed and touched on the shoulder and stuff like that). Very sweet lady.

The only famous person I know who is really great when it comes to e-mail is Kevin Smith. I've e-mailed back and forth with him a couple times. He's not wordy but it's pretty obvious that it's not a macroed response.

Haven't had the pleasure of meeting many film stars thus far...
Coolest celebrity I've met has to be Jarvis Cocker (lead singer of Pulp)!
We spoke for about 15 minutes or so...he signed a load of bumpth for me and offered me a ciggie...
Said it had been an absolute pleasure! He's a great bloke!

My dad actually does some CGI work for films. He is mainly a video game producer, but he has done work in Hollywood. So through him I got to go to some banquet when I was twelve and I met Bruce Willis and Demi Moore.
Sweet people both of them
Holy crap its raining hard here

Going to see Sum of all Fears tomorrow. Totally can't wait to see Colm Feore. I don't know who he plays in this yet since he's not listed on all the sites by character name.
However back in the late 80s I met him and got his autograph. He was really nice and flattered. My best friend and I were HUGE fans of his at the time. We'd seen him in a bunch of Shakespeare plays at the Stratford Festival in Ontario, Canada including Othello and Richard III.
Anyway we actually got busted because we missed getting back on the tour bus to go home to Rochester, NY because we were dorks and waited by the stage door to get his autograph.
He was really sweet and paused to talk to us for a few minutes before hopping on his 10 speed to ride home.
Of course when the bus found us... it actually drove some looking for us... and we got on we thought we were so busted. But when our English teacher saw the autograph and realized why we were late we got scolded only minorly (to the chagrin of the people who were thrilled to see me and my friend who were known to be total goody-goodies get actually busted) and then my English teacher was mostly only mad because we didn't let her in on the idea.

Wow, I would love love to meet Philip Seymour Hoffman. I met Pauly Shore(!) the other day outside the Comedy Store on Sunset Blvd. in West Hollywood. He was really nice, apparently he now manages the place. My dumbass friend Gabe told him that BIO-DOME kind of sucked, right to his face, but he warmly smiled and sort of laughed it off, like he gets that all the time or something. I met Craig T. Nelson and John Corbett one time in Dallas and got their autographs, but neither was nice as Pauly.

Yes, I grew up in Penfield in the days of the Chiefs. No clue what they changed our mascot to be. I worked at Wegmans during high school. I miss Wegmans... After college I worked at channel 13 for a while.
I actually didn't mind Rochester at all though going back to live there now would be hard because I'm not used to snow anymore http://www.joblo.com/ubb/wink.gif

I've never met a film star but I did stay in the same hotel as Creed after they played at Edgefest in Barrie,Ontario(Canada) they were really cool. I got my picture taken with the guitarist and I also met Moist when they were still independant in a mall. The guy at the music store called to tell me they were going to be there and I got their autograph's. They were all flirts.

Bruce Campbell and Sam Raimi (well, back in his Darkman days at the Fango conventions)
Razorblade Smile

Nicest film star. George Takei (Sulu of Star Trek fame) The guy has zero ego and takes time to converse with his fans rather than just the quick hand-shake.
Worst actor: Frank Sinatra. What a pompous cocksucker.

I met John Lithgow over Memorial Day weekend. He was very polite and gracious (and tall!).
Does Vanilla Ice count? Let's not forget the masterpiece that was Cool As Ice. "Baby, why don't you drop that zero and get with this hero?"
Gandalf the Grey

When they were in my hometown of Gloucester, MA, filming "The Perfect Storm", I met both George Clooney and Mark Wahlberg. Played basketball with Clooney for about an hour or so. He's the nicest of the two.

I went to eat at a very popular Italian restrurant in L.A. where Jim Belushi and Stephen Sommers were eating close by to my table. Also, Michael Clarke Duncan, Linda Blair, and Whoopi Goldberg walked by me once. What else, I shook hands with that guy from JAG (forgot his name). I met Sabrina's Caroline Rhea. Shook hands with Ray Romano. And finally, I smiled at Jaime Lee Curtis and her daughters.

FilmBuff I met Jennifer Lopez and Sarah Michelle Gellar when they were in Australia. It was on New Years Eve I think 99 or 2000 when Sarah Michelle Gellar was in Sydney and I met her, she's really lovely, very calm, down to Earth. I met Jennifer Lopez when she was in Australia to promote her album J.Lo. Shes really nice too. Paul Walker and Mark Wahlberg are both really nice guys, gentlemen. To me they both seemed really down to Earth. All really good looking people in real life.
