Which one are you looking more forward to see and why?

Definitely Star Wars II. The Matrix, while a fine film, did not beg for a sequel, while Star Wars is a saga by its very nature--the rise, fall, and redemption of Anakin Skywalker.

Also, and I hate to be mean, but Ewan McGregor (and by all accounts Hayden Christensen) are far better, more charismatic actors than Keanu Reeves could ever hope to be. I will not pay to see a movie just because Keanu appears in it--though I will concede he was decent in "Speed." He just doesn't seem to have much of a range.

I totally agree: i can't wait to see episode 2, you know, to see a grown up Anakin, and of course, why he turns to the dark side...

PLUS, all the actors in SW episode 2 are far better than all the matrix actors...
And many reports say that episode 2 will be far better than episode 1, so we can expect a great movie...

Although i do like the first three star wars films, episode 1 was a major let dowm (at least to me). I think that star wars was in its top in the past, now all they seem to do is bring in actors, put them in front of a blue screen tape what they say put in alot of CGI and then write a story. I dont think Lucus is trying to tell a story anymore, he just wants to show off his speciel effects. I could be wrong with episode II (i hope i am). The matrix not only tells a exelent story, it revelutionized computer technology and it had awsome action sceens, and what i hear, Reloaded will be better.

I'm looking forward to Episode II a great deal more, but i'm not overy excited for it, but i'm sure when the trailer is released the hype machine that is the net will begin pounding.

Matrix 2, all the way. Critics have a tendency to call ever good sci-fi movie "The Next Star Wars", but Matrix was the first film I've ever seen with the potential to actually take that title. A good sequel now, and a good finale later, could cement it as the definitive sci-fi flick of this generation.

Matrix 2 looks more promising.

The original Matrix never really did it for me. I saw it as a good action movie, but that's about it. Some of it borders on ridiculous, and its story has been done before.

I am looking forward to Stars Wars more but just slightly. I think that Matrix has merit because the Wachoski's claim that they had a trilogy planned all along. That means that they had a three part story in mind from the start. Not just making more movies based on what is in the first movie. I htink that is why most sequels suck ass.
The only reason I am looking forward to the next one is so I can give a big fingur to all those people that are talking about how bad it is going to be. The movies will rock. Plus Star Wars has always been more than a movie in my family.

the matrix 2,i know this movie just gonna kick ass.I'm sure larry and andy will make a great sequel.I'd like to see some good character development.I don't know about star wars.In 1999 i was a fan of star wars, but i don't like it anymore.I think that the star wars movies are a little too childish. It's like a fairytale. But i at least appriciate the great cgi.I think that the cgi from reloaded will a lot better than that from episode 2.

If you like a movie simply because of its computer special effects, then you really miss out on the movie.

I think stories and characters are always more important. That's why Episode One was so poor. The characters sucked, caused no empathy, the dialogue and story were weak and frought with inconsistencies.
