These movies, to me, were both about a man finding his place in a society that was far detached from him.
Barton Fink was a story teller, who wanted to say something, but ended up in Hollywood were all they wanted from him was a wrestling flick.
Delemorte was a romantic, a dreamer, who was stuck alone, and the only people he really knew were the dead.
Both movies dealt with madness brought on by our surroundings.
Both movies had images that came true at the final scene.
Any thoughts?
