Alternate Endings

I wondered how many of you guys can think of any alternate endings to films which where set to be made but werent and if so say what was supposed to happen in them.

The Terminator:You see cybernet at the end looking at the arm that was left at the end of the film which leaves it open for a sequel.

Terminator 2:We see Sarah Connor and John in the future Sarah is an old woman now and John works in the government.

Natural Born killers: The person who helps mickey and mallory escape kills Mickey then points his gun at mallory then the scene ends.

**SPOILERS FOR THE FILM BRAZIL**

Universal wanted Terry Gilliam to have a happier ending to the movie Brazil, where Sam actually did escape from the Ministry of Information. When you add that ending, it doesn't make much sense, like how Tuttle disappears in the paper pile, and Sam falls through the casket. But I think the theatrical version did have the dark ending, just the TV version might be the Sid Sheinberg version aka Love Conquers All.

Final Destination:

Devon Sawa dies, and Ali Larter is carrying his baby, who she names after him. She is standing at his gravesite and feels a gust of wind signifying his presence. Very, very horrible ending. Thank goodness they didn't use that one!

There is two different endings to Blade Runner, THe one Ridley Scott wanted and the one that was theatrically released. I personaly like Scott's ending better.

Apocalypse Now has a shitload of endings! The Redux version has the best though...

Boiler Room had two endings, the alternate one is one the dvd...And it's much better, I don't know why they changed it, probably studio pressured a happier ending...

Army of Darkness had an alternate ending that was only shown overseas. It's the better one IMO...

Ash drinks a magic potion which will make him sleep and he will wake up in the present. Unfortunately he takes one drop too much and wakes up in an apocalyptic wasteland! The movie ends with Ash screaming.

Dawn of the Dead was supposed to have Peter shoot himself and Fran step into the helicopter rotor blades to committ suicede...Tom Savini says it was actually filmed.

I heard about this. I would love to see the footage! Sounds like a pretty bleak ending to me...

According to commentary if studio execs got their filthy hands on this movie, it wouldn't have ended with the head in the box, but with Mills saving his wife in their apartment and gunning down John Doe. Also, the story board ending had Somerset kill John Doe at the end and say, "I'm retiring". The filmed alternate ending lingers a bit more and has a not so emotional response from Mills as he is deciding what he has to do.
I think Fincher had everything turn out just right in the end, good for him!

Heard the Dawn of the Dead alternate ending is gonna be on the Anchor Bay 3-disc DVD

OK! I though it was known that Apocalypse Now had many alternatives...i'll describe a few, of those i've seen:

1)35mm ending: The ending credits roll, and we hear many explotions.

2)70mm ending: We got no titles, no explositions, just a copyright sign.

3)Martin Sheen orders the bombing and leaves with his friend--who is alive, The one i saw on VHS, just about the same thing in 35mm.

4)Martin Sheen orders the bombing---his friend is dead though===REDUX ENDING(if i remember correctly)

There is also one ending in which Martin Sheen takes General Kurtz's place, after murdering him.

Happy?
