I'm in the process of loading the clips, but I read the emails from the possible "PA." On one hand I'm shocked to here about things like the throwing of the Hershey's bottle. But Kevin Smith does not seem to like most other filmmakers and if you were used to doing things a certain way one might have trouble adapting to being on a set like Kevin Smith's.
But for me that is all irrelevant in the end. He could be Satan in real life, but I wouldn't stop going to View Askew movies at all, because thus far they have all been great. Whether or not Kevin Smith is a dick to be around really doesn't matter to me. Yeah I'm suprised at these allegations but really in the end it does not matter one way or the other.

The PA's story could be true and for the most part probably is, but I doubt he actually throw the bottle directly at his head. I just think Kevin and his co-workers dont like outsiders on the sets. I do recall in an Jason Mewes interview (on viewaskew.com) that he actually had to audition for the part of Jay in Mallrats because of people at Miramax and I think Kevin and friends might have taken offense to that or maybe something else like that. You can tell that Kevin does exercise full control on the set because in a DVD extra in J&SBSB he said that he cant stand people adlibing, he used Ben Affleck in Chasing Amy as an example of how he had to pay for rights of a song. If being on the set of a Kevin Smith movie is that bad he wouldnt be able to get all those stars (and many returning) for next to nothing. It might be bad for outsiders but I'm sure Kevin and everyone else has a ball.

I love Kevin Smith and his films.
He's funny as hell and a really nice guy in person. He actually responds to e-mails as well.
He is very open minded towards his fans so I think he's one of the nicests guys in hollywood

If all or some of these allegations are true, him and his doped up sidekick of his should really get over himself.
He's not that great as a director or a writer,i still feel that clerks is his best work, made at a time before he became everyone's friend, maybe that's one of the reasons.
He does'nt like improv?I could have sworn75% of all his films were adlibbed.I recommend he give his actors a little more freedom because if this is what he spits out with a carefully planned script,he would do well to trust his actors instincts a bit more.
I know it's tough to construct scenes that consist of freak this, freak that, ohh freak.Hey man, what the freak, freak you, freak that, freak it.Genius, pure genius.Best original screenplay for JASBSB,they wuz robbed something fierce. Can't wait for his next one about parenthood.

Um...Kevin Smith sucks in my opinion anyway. If I watch his movies, I tend to get irritated by their sheer stupidity. Jason Mewes is one of the worst actors and is so lucky that he ever met Kevin Smith...or else he'd be working in a fucking McDonald's in Anytown, Ohio.
