Does anyone else anticipate this Kevin Coster spooker film scheduled for release in January 2002. I personally think Kevin Costner is really underrated. I loved "Waterworld","The Postman", and "3000 Miles To Graceland" were all fun and action-packed pictures. He showed his dramatic side in the interesting and tense "13 Days". The plot is about a doctor(Kevin Costner) who thinks near death experiences with patients are actually a way his wife(Susanna Thompson) is trying to contact him. The twist is:the wife dead. Now he must unravel this mystery. Kathy Bates will portray his neighbor. I think this film could be spooky and dramatic. The director is Tom Shadyac(The Nutty Professor and Patch Adams). It was written by David Seltzer(this dude wrote a classic horror film called "The Omen"). This film could be a spooky haunted house film with a good atmosphere. Kathy Bates is really funny and is a great actress. The budget is $75,000,000 and that means it will have cool visuals and sets. The official site can be found at http://www.dragonflymovie.com/. There is not much there now except a cool flash logo. But check it for updates. Universal Pictures will distribute the film domestically. Spyglass(who made "The Sixth Sense") will do international. A extremely positive script review can be found here http://www.tnmc.org/dp/0404011.shtml. Note that review is of a first draft which has since been revised by the writer listed above. But some of the elements could remain. What are your guys thoughts on this picture?
