This is a stupid, useless question but last night I went to see Blood Work (7/10) and I noticed something. The usual Warner Bros. studio thing at the very first of the film has piano music while the WB shield is spinning through the air, eventually landing at the center of the screen. Then the words "An AOL Time Warner Company" appear. But last night, for that film, there was no animation, no piano music, nothing. The logo was just there, with the AOL Time Warner thing there too. Did Warner Bros. get cheap? Use the wrong one? Did this only happen at my theater? Help, please!

Nope, you're not the only one. I saw BLOOD WORK last night, and I noticed right away that the old WB logo was used. It was probably on Eastwood's behalf that this occurred, possibly as a throwback to the old days of WB movies or something. In any case, I thought it was kind of nifty.

Yeah, I suppose it probably was a throwback. I thought it was cool to see it again, but odd.

George Lucas did something similar with the Fox logo for the Star Wars prequels.
