what does eveyrone think of harry potter being made into a movie? i really like all the books, i hope the movie is as good. well the site is really cool, u can watch trailers read about the story, and even sign his bday card, etc.

I'd be the first to admit that yes, I enjoyed the Harry Potter books. I don't buy into the whole notion that they're simply for children - there's a lot of dark, nasty stuff that's pretty kickass to read and definitely can creep people out.

As it stands, the casting looks good and the sets look good for the movie. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that this, like Lord of the RIngs, will live up to the hype.

I was never into the whole Harry Potter thing. Seeing a 40-year-old man stand in line for three hours to buy a children's book is absurd. Still, I saw it trailered on AI, and while it didn't look like quite my thing, it did have a distincly pleasant Neverending Story quality to it (one of my favorite movies as a kid). Could be big with kids, and parents, and fans of the books, which of course, adds up to just about everyone other than me.

The movie better be good!!! I hear its over two hours long!
