I don't think so! They think no women like "JP3" but I think the do. Films like "The Mummy Returns" and "Final Fantasy" had a lot of women in them and they could have chosen more softer films like "Pootie Tang","Atlantis","Dr. Dolittle 2","Evolution","Moulin Rouge","Pearl harbor", or "shrek". Plus the "Sweethearts" trailers are not funny at all!

Sweethearts will do good, come on, anything w/ Julia Roberts always does....like it or not.

I agree and think it will do well. The Mexican is R-rated, got poor reviews and is a crappy movie, yet it still opened with $20 million and made about $70 million in the states. America's Sweethearts is a PG-13 romantic comedy. It might open below JP3, but you can bet on it making lots of money.

Of course JP3 will do better. But America's Sweethearts will do really good no matter what. It has Julia Roberts, they could have a movie about her making a sandwich and it would be a BLOCKBUSTER... I'd say America's Sweethearts will open with 25-30 Million. No matter what, it will have it's audience. Besides, I might just wait for video for Jurassic Park 3, for some reason the previews don't do anything for me and I'm not all that excited for it... Anyway, they will both be BLOCKBUSTERS and have big openings...

My guesses:

Jurassic Park 3: 70 Million
America's Sweethearts: 25-30 Million

Who cares? I'm sure both will survive each other. The bigger question is: will moviegoers survive?

I actually just finished watching Jurassic Park 3 20 minutes ago, god bless VCDs!

I think the movie will do alright. Its not as good as the first one, but it is better then the second.

The short time span of it, 85 minutes, will entertain the kiddies long enough. I know by the time it hit the 75 minutes mark I was already getting tired of watching it.

Has for females liking it, Tea Leoni was quite annoying, but least shes nice on the eyes.
