Scary Movie 3??

Well its not official, BUT if it ever does happen, don't expect it for a couple years. In a recent interview, Marlon Wayans, one of the co-writers for Scary Movie 2, said that if there was a 3rd movie, it would take a few years to write/make.

I am not really optimistic about a 3rd Scary movie (especially after seeing the filth part 2 was) but I admire the fact that the Wayans bros would take more time to write a half decent script, and maybe make another Spoof masterpiece like they ARE capable of (look at Dont be a Menace..., Scary movie)

I really hope they make a 3rd one. I loved the first and second one, they were both great and hilarious.

I hope they do. I think it would be cool if they spoof killer animal movies in this one, movies like Jaws, Lake Placid, Anaconda, Crocodile, etc... Something like that anyway, I think it would be cool. They already did slashers and supernatural, it would be a something different. They just have to make a third one. I want one so bad. Plus, I'm in love with Anna Faris, so I need to see more of her... Is it for sure that one will be made B-ball Dude???

I loved the first one but I didn't really like number 2.The only reason number 3 will be made...well,like the song goes:

yes im sure theres a special website that has all the movies up to 2006 and scarymovie3 is coming next july and in september they should tell what its about.

Crappy reviews for SCARY MOVIE 2 (read JoBlo's take on the film here) haven't deterred the Wayans Bros. from beginning work on a third film. Shawn Wayans spoke with Cindy Pearlman and revealed that they were "told" (by who?...) to get working immediately on a third film. SCARY 2 was released on July 4th and was beat out that holiday weekend by the kids movie CATS AND DOGS. The film wound up taking in $21 million this weekend, which isn't bad but certainly nowhere near the $42.5 mil the original raked in. I haven't seen the second film yet but I heard it's just plain terrible. And this is from people who loved the original and like that type of humor. But I guess the Wayans just really have nothing else to do. Hosting award shows is certainly out of the question...

- I loved SCARY MOVIE 2, it wasn't quite as good as the first one but it was hilarious and I laughed my ass off... It was a great time at the movies...

A third one would rock! I liked the 2nd one better than the first but enjoyed them both very much. I hope they spoof "The Mummy". Like they did "Scream" and "The Haunting". The high school group is recruited to go to Egypt to find a mummy. It is unbelievable but were the first two believable?

I hope the plot and the jokes are much better than the first two movies though.
