Now the only thing that gives me hope
Is my love of a certain dope
Rose tints my world keeps me safe from my trouble and pain
I'm just seven hours old
And truly beautiful to behold.
And somebody should be told
My libido hasn't been controlled.
Now the only thing I've come to trust
Is an orgasmic rush of lust. Rose tint my world and keeps me safe from my trouble and pain.

I don't remember who dragged me to the theater once to go see this at a midnight show back when it used to play every week...
But I thought it was just aweful.
I suppose I can tolerate watching it on TV nowadays.. I sometimes catch parts of it when it's on.. Then again, maybe not.

My head it used to spin from the perfume I smelled
My hand kinda fumbled with the white plastic belt
I kissed my baby's pink lipstick and that's when it melted.......
God I love Meatloaf!

Me? I thought it sucked. Sure, a few of the songs are catchy, and Tim Curry's performance is eye catching (to say the least), but overall I thought the humor was juvenile and overdone, not to mention the fact that the whole thing was just too damn long for it's own good.
However, if your local theatre has a showing of ROCK HORROR (as mine does every Halloween) I strongly suggest going. Why? Because the fans are a hoot. Sure, the movie sucks balls, but the crowd is always more entertaining than what's going on onscreen. You'll see what I mean.

It was fun. Not a cinematic masterpiece by any means, but groundbreaking in it's own right. And very catchy tunes. A young Susan Sarandon in bra and panties is just a bonus.
