I thought it was a boring masterpiece full of great performances and brilliant direction. It was everything that art films are about and so much more. I felt sort of letdown, I mean I never really gotr into it or felt any sense of dread whatsoever, but it was definitely pretty to look at...I mean, DAfoe was amazing as usual, and I couldn't tell the difference between him and the footage they had from the original, and the rest of the cast including Udo Kier, Cary Elwes, John Malkovich, Eddie Izzard & Catherine McCormack were top notch...It definitely had an overall feeling of the German abstractionist paintings and the creatvity of a fictional account of the making of the cinema classic, "Nosferatu"...I wish I had payed attention to some reviews I read ahead of time, but some flicks you just have to see for yourself...
