Am I the only horror loving dude who can't wait to see this one? A slasher flick that has a once picked on geek put on a cupid mask and kill the broads that use to annoy him. I love the premise!
Will Valentine join "My Bloody Valentine" as one of the best horror valentine flicks? I hope so...

I heard about it a while ago. I've been waiting ever since. Sounds like fun shit.

I was at the COMIC BOOK/SCI-FI convention in LOS ANGELES this SUNDAY and DAVID BOREANEZ was there to talk about the movie VALENTINE. They showed a trailer, showed a bunch of clips set to a rock song, and then DAVID talked about the movie and his character. It looks like it's going to be most excellent. I can't wait. The release date has changed. It will now come out Feb 2nd, so it's coming out earlier. Yipeeeeee!

The premise sounds interesting... goes back to the days of 80's slasher flicks... as long as they don't fuck it up, I think the flick should be pretty good. However, the teaser trailer is pretty fucking stupid. If the flick is half as good as "My Bloody Valentine", which rules, I'll be happy.

It looks pretty good..and we really don't know if the guy/girl in the cupid mask is the same kid from the past. That would be a neat twist? Actually it's probably been done before, but people who've watched these films know sometimes the killer isn't the one who was teased...Wasn't Prom Night like that..i haven't seen that in a while.

SCREAM 3 wasnt a letdown..it was a solid mflick..kinda messed up ending though..
well, none of us know what direction VALENTINE will take..they may have the "PREPPY" guy do all of the killing..then again, they might have the "GEEK" or "MAIN HOTTY" do the killing..nowadays,with SCREAM having created a whole new forefront,no one ever knows what will happen..
the movie looks promising..

Whats gonna be next in the teen shalsher/pick a mask or a suit and terrorize people genre? An Easter Bunny mask?
"This summer, prepare to get killed off - bunny style. He's done with eggs. He's done with candy. The next thing you'll find in your Easter basket will be -- YOU'RE HEAD. Prepare to be scared, the new movie by the sell-out/confessed pedophile Wes Craven in...EASTER DAY!"
Or how about a person dressed up as a turkey?
"This fall, prepare to be scared - turkey style! He is done with being the guest of honor at the banquet, he is tired of his species being mentioned when somebody stops doing narcotics all of a sudden. The next thing you'll cook for Thanksgiving is -- YOU'RE HEAD! From the master of disaster and all around prick, Wes Craven, comes...THANKSGIVING OF DEATH!"
When will the needless making of stupid dead teen shasher flicks that have a holiday title in it (and, suprise, has some schmuck dressed up as the holiday icon) end? It will end when you want it to end - JUST STOP PAYING TO SEE THEM!!!

I just saw the trailer last night on the big screen for the first time, and it looks pretty damn good...I mean, like an old school flick brought back to life. Denise Richards looks great as always and if it's anything like the director's first flick ("Urban Legend"), it oughta be sweet...plus the kid definitely looks like an authentic geek...

I agree that Scream 3 was good: it beat Scream 2 to hell. I had a party right before the holidays called "Scream-A-Rama 2000!!!" and showed all 3 movies - everyone who came liked the 3rd one (not as much as the first, of course) I was SO looking forward to "Valentine" and was really let down. Looks like it's back to "My Bloody Valentine"...
...how about a thriller set on Hannukah? the killer could stick all the victims in a giant mennorah and light 'em all up. The heroine could be a shiksa (sp?) who uncovers the plot and stops the killer by making him eat a non-kosher meal. Oh, the horror, the horror! I'm all verklempt!
