Guys, here it is, am I happy with all of the crappy video game movies coming out? NO! If you want to make good video game movies, where are Flashback, Alone In The Dark, or Castlevania? These are great video games with good stories, but what on earth could they even begin to do with DOOM? Hey, I'll say that Todd McFarlane is the bomb when it comes to comic books, but by judgeing SPAWN, he should stay out of movies, especially when it comes to video games!
DOOM is a game with little plot and great gobs of gore, why would we even need a movie of this? I must admit that it would be interresting too see what they would do with it, but it wont matter , , , as the few good video game movies suffer from the critics and no one sees them. Remember Wing Commander? It was not as bad as people were saying, at least it followed the story, unlike Super Mario Bros., and Street Fighter. As far as I've seen, the video game movies should be left to MANGA!!!!

Devilman was pretty cool, but what does that have to do with video game related movies?

Flashback was the most engrossing game of all time. That would be perfect for a movie....why hasn't this happened?????

Flashback never happened because of Toal Recall.

Well, there might not be a need for it, but there sure is a market - "Friday the 13th" has nine sequels, and think of the popularity of Lucio Fulci and the Italian cannibal movies. And, anyway, it can't be worse than Super Mario Bros. There was a movie with little plot and no gore whatsoever.
