Yeah, it's a sequel to the NIGHT/DAWN/DAY OF THE DEAD movies. There is also plans to make a movie based on the games REIDENT EVIL and HOUSE OF THE DEAD

While at a sci-fi/comic con a while back, David B was there and he talked about that. He said he's not gonna be able to do it due to sceduling conflicts. Dang!

Twilight of the Dead will probably never see production. Romero has seriously talked about this film and his interest in it, but he has also said there isn't much of a market for another Romero zombie film.
But, if he can find some funding, this film would be a reality.
The basic plot is supposed to be about people finally overcoming the zombies. The zombies wouldn't really bother anyone and they would be left dying of hunger on the streets. Not really a very exciting concept, but it might nice as a social commentary.
I'd still love to see another NOTLD film, even though Day really sucked......

The people making Resident Evil must have been infected with the T-virus to fire George Romero. I mean what kind of crack are they smoking. They hire Paul Anderson who does big budget flicks with massive CGI (i.e. Mortal Kombat) C'mon, the game is cheese, the movie should be pure cheese B-movie mayhem. Not a $100 million dollar special effect-athon.

i agree with you on the cgi but a big budget would not be bad for a resident evil film. i think it needs it.
