BLADE 2, can they pull it off?

Hey now, I thoiught that Blade was MUCH better that Vampires, and it came out at a reasonably same time, but will the sequel live up to the original? I THINK SO!!!! I must say that I was pretty hessitant until I heard that Blackout was being played by Micheal Ironside. He will be the new lord of the Vampires, and I do think that Michael is a well under appreciated actor!
Has anyone seen Scanners? If you have, then you know that Michael is a very apt villian, no matter what he plays in!
Snipes will return as Blade for at least one more film after this one, are all of you in agreeance with this one?

Yeah, I'm waitin' for the new Blade movie with bells on my toes. I like Ironside quite a bit, too. I think it could be at least as good as the first, since the first wasn't strictly horror, thereby giving a continuing storyline a bit more flexibility.

And, yes, I also agree, as heretical as I feel by saying this, that I prefered Blade to Carpenter's Vampires.

I HOPE the sequel turns out as good as the original! I love that film! Blade kicks arse!
