This movie sounds really great. It's about a college student (Paul Walker) who's on a road trip to pick up the girl of his dreams (Leelee Sobieski)... Somehow his brother who's a prankster talks him into playing a prank on someone on a CB radio. You know, the things truckers use. Anyway, it turns out the person they played the prank on is really a psychotic killer...

So shoot me, I think this movie sounds good. It was supposed to come out in March but it got pushed back until June 1st, 2001... Anyway, I can't wait, I love a good horror movie. What does everyone else think of it, do you think it sounds good? I know I do...

PEACE

You guys, I forgot something, the title is no longer called "Squelch" anymore, it's been changed to JOYRIDE...

Well, after a quick title change, it's starting to sound better. If done the right way (like any movie possibility) it could be pretty good. I'm sucker for any and all horror movies, good and bad, so I'll check it out.

Man: "Hey, what did you go to see?"
Hippie: "Squelch"
Man: ". . . "

I saw a picture from the filming of this flick in "Premiere" a while back, and it also has the great young talent Steve Zahn, who is in "Saving Silverman" & "Happy, Texas"...he's hilarious at times and is also a energetic actor...I look forward to this flick...

Yeah, Steve Zahn plays the brother of Paul Walker, the one that talks him into playing the prank ...

It almost sounds like a cross between "The Hitcher" and Kurt Russell's "Breakdown"...I really dig psychotic backwoods folk...
