I guess this is already supposed to be in the works. I haven't seen the first one for a long time, I remember a friend and I saw it in the theater, it was ok. Nothing special. The snake looked cool though... Anyway, they're making a sequel, I'm sure the plot will be laughable. How much money did the first one make anyway ?
I really don't know what to think of this one, of course I won't be counting the days til it comes out and I don't know if I'll even see it, who knows... I probably will but most likely I'll wait until it hits video shelves... Anyway, what does everyone else think of this? Anyone really looking forward to it?

I don't think many people liked ANACONDA, most people I've talked to thought it sucked...

I heard about it at www.upcominghorrormovies.com (http://www.upcominghorrormovies.com) , I also heard about some other horror movies coming out that sound good ... It's an alright website, check it out ...

I liked ANACONDA, even though a lot of the snake FX were extremely dodgy. The strongest aspect of the film was the great cast. All very good actors/actresses (JON VOIGHT, JENNIFER LOPEZ, ICE CUBE, OWEN WILSON, ERIC STOLTZ)

I didn't think it was all that bad, but it would be more along the lines of, "you know it's sorta bad but you like it anyway." So, I liked it, but it wasn't the greatest movie of all time, but it was the best snake movie I had seen. I don't know if you saw that straight to video movie PYTHON, but Anaconda was a hell of a lot better than that. PYTHON was mildly entertaining, but it had tons of loose ends, mediocre acting (Casper Van Dien couldn't act if his life depended on it, did you see him on the show TITANS, he's just such a bad actor, but he wasn't too bad in STARSHIP TROOPERS). Jenny McArthy was good in SCREAM 3 but was horrible in Python, she was annoying and I hate to say it but, ugly... The special effects were kinda fakey, and that snake was huge, how come nobody saw it slithering around during the day time. Plus, you don't see enough deaths. Anyway, it wasn't that great. So, don't see Python unless you really want to. Now back on the subject of Anaconda, since I don't really remember if I liked it or not I might rent it. All I can remember was that I at least thought it was "ok". So we'll see...
Anyway, since I like a good monster/horror flick I probably will watch the sequel. I hope Jennifer Lopez is in it...

MIKE -
I can GUARANTEE that JENNIFER LOPEZ WILL NOT be in ANACONDA 2 - she's a HUGE STAR now!
I seen PYTHON - i thought it was pretty shitty. I only watched it to see what WIL WHEATON(child star of STAND BY ME) was like, cos i thought he would be huge one day! Oh, and the dude who played the sheriff (you know - blond hair) was WILLIAM ZABKA. He played Johnny, the bully, in THE KARTATE KID!

P.S. CASPER VAN DIEN'S career is OVER after that performance!

HAHA, sorry, THE KARATE KID! Not the 'kartate' kid!

Only if Jennifer stops teasing and takes that tight tank top OFF this time. I won't hold my breath.

In the last issue of Entertainment Weekly they were talking about upcoming sequels and they listed ANACONDA 2. It doesn't look like Jennifer Lopez will return (big surprise), I didn't figure that she would. She's a big star now, why would she waste her time. I hope they get another hot chick in it. It also said that the first one grossed more than 60 million dollars in 1997. They said that if they make this one cheap like the first one then they should be able to make a pretty big profit off of it. I know what hot chick could replace Jennifer Lopez, Elisabeth Filarski from SURVIVOR 2: The Australian Outback. She'd be perfect, she's really hot... If she was in it I'd see it for sure...

Morgan-
Van Dien maybe fish food at the moment, but a B Movie career is still a career.

He has that A Movie looks but alas he can't act or emote or even walk a straight line convincingly. But hey he keeps churning them out and we keep watching them. Anyone see On The Border? That wasn't bad.
