SCULLY'S REPLACEMENT on THE X-FILES

If both David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson decide to leave THE X-FILES series, but FOX brings the show back for another year with Robert Patrick, which actress would you cast as Doggett's new partner? Annabeth Gish is portraying an FBI Agent from New Orleans on the February 25 episode, so I assume that she is the front-runner for now.

Lolita Davidovich, Sherilyn Fenn, Madchen Amick, Stacy Edwards, Linda Fiorentino, Gina Gershon, Gail O'Grady, Virginia Madsen, Diane Lane, Teri Hatcher, Linda Hamilton, Madeleine Stowe, Janine Turner, Gabrielle Anwar, Famke Janssen, Mira Sorvino, Saffron Burrows and Radha Mitchell.

If Gillian Anderson leaves the show, I might very well stop watching. Of course, if they brought in Julianne Moore as Agent Starling to replace her I might reconsider. /ubb/wink.gif

I forgot about Julianne Moore! But then again, I listed actresses who would take a "step down" to do a TV series. Moore is a big star now, so that leaves her out!

I have a big prediction... Scully and Doggett fall in love as she will want to be with him physically and emotionally and with Mulder as a soulmate.

However, I have NOOOOOOo idea who they would replace Scully with even though Robert Patrick has proven that David Duchovny is replaceable.

I don't think Scully/Anderson can be replaced. For my cable bill, Gillian Anderson is one of the best actresses on the tube. Last week's performance was incredible!
