From the looks of it, It looks like it might not do so good.

It sounds laughable from the reviews from AICN, and i think i read somewhere that it's been moved to the beginning of next year to sort out the mess.

It will bomb, a totally, totally, un-wanted, un-important film of which is a remake of a film that wasn't good in the first place.

It's such a stupid premise. I mean of all the things you could do in a futuristic setting. They did the original 'Rollerball' because the roller skating fad had just taken off. This is just plain ridiculous. There is absolutely no need for this movie to be made. It doesn't fit, especially in a futuristic setting. If you're gonna remake something that has a futuristic setting, remake 'Mad Max' or something that's worth seeing. Roller skating??? gimme a break...

JP, please enlighten me as to the great significance of a remake of Mad Max.

Hey Horror, don't like the majority of movies cost like a lot to make? ( by the by a lot is two words signifying a great amount. Sorry but is an annoyance of mine)

Anyway, I am going to see it even if it sucks just to see that guy from Road Rules....that guy is the best!

Of all the re-makes to come out, they had to go and cock up a damn fine original.
Lets face it, when you were growing up and saw this for the first time, it kicked major A$$, James Caan has always been a fave of mine, well, not any longer, he hasnt had that many decent roles of late, but I thought he was great in the original.

And if I'm not mistaken, he plays a cameo in the new one. Not a bad idea for those who saw the original, but pointless otherwise. And as for LL Cool J, whats the deal here, who the hell decided he could act. He was half good in Any Given Sunday, and that was just blind luck, but someone tell this man to stick to what he knows.

I'll wait for this to hit the video shelfs, I dont think I could make myself pay up for the big screen outing. Infact, I may just forget seeing at all, buy me a bank of weed and watch the origianl a couple of times... Ahhhh, nostalgia!
I dont have any problems with re-makes, provided they do it right, but Hollywood, so often, fucks it right up and therefore casts doubts on the originals, so those that never did see the original versions, decide against watching them.

Back in the day, Rollerball was "cool" right now, pointless kitch.
If you want to see it, do it justice and get the real version.

I am very excited about "Rollerball". From the looks of the teaser it looks like a fun ride. LL Cool J rocks! Chris Klien is a good action star. John Mctieran directed "Die Hard" which proves he can do good ol' summer action. AICN has a lot of phony reviews anyway. So I think it'll rock!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!
