Is the script really called "I Will Always Know What You Did Last Summer"? Because, you know, the sequel should have actually been called, if it were going to be accurate, "I Still Know What You Did The Summer Before Last." Hence, a third sequel, if it begins with "I Will Always" should read something like this: "I Will Always Know What You Did About Four Summers Ago."

Then, inevitably, "It's Vague, But I Seem to Recall You Doing Something About Twenty Summers Ago: IKWYDLS20."

Cannot wait for that one.

I heard they were starting the story over with new characters, new storyline and no Ben Willis.

I for one am hip to that idea and will welcome a third entry anyday. I liked the first one, hated the second and hope that the third rocks.

"I Will Always Know"? Good title, though the thought of a sequel fills me instantly with dread; why not call it "I Know What You Did Last Autumnal Equinox", or "I Kinda Know What You Did at the Summer Place from 'On Golden Pond'"?

i thought the 2nd movie sucked at the end,but i did like the whole jamaica thing, and the kills were pretty cool. Ben's son? Come on, that sounds too much like another certain horror trilogy. This next one will probably have ben's wife joining the "i'm going to get you julie" campaign. gonna be stupid i bet

Apparently this movie is still in the works. It's fine with me, I'll see it... I loved the first one, the second was ok, I think it would've been better if Kevin Williamson would've done it, you could tell he didn't write the script and that really sucks. I think it would have been a lot better if he wrote the script... But I'll see the third one, I'm a sucker, I'll even see a sequel to a bad horror movie. I don't know why, just to see it I guess. Anyway, the new characters and storyline is a pretty good idea. Of course no matter what I'll be seeing this movie...

Sounds stupid... But I'd go see it anyway. Liked the first, HATED the second, maybe it'll make the storyline intersesting again.

I liked the first, LOVED the second - but the twist did suck (his son - please!) - and can't wait for the next one new cast or not.

Yeah, I didn't like the twist in the second one either, plus, I already figured it out before they revealed it in the end of the movie. It was pretty easy to figure out...
Plus, since we already knew who the main killer was how come he still wore the stupid slicker outfit, and he was in the Bahamas, walking around with a slicker on, come on, I don't think he would blend in too good. Maybe in the first one because it was a fishing village but on a tropical island, very doubtful. And when Julie (Jennifer Love Hewitt) was in the tanning booth and the thing was on their and she couldn't get out, and they were hurrying to try and get her out because otherwise she'd burn and stuff. Well, that was so stupid, they tried to make it all dramatic but why didn't they just shut the damn thing off, DUH!!! Despite it's many plot holes I still thought it was ok, but definately not as good as the first one, I wish Sarah Michelle Gellar would have lived in the first one and been in the second one along with Jennifer Love Hewitt, I love SMG and she could have made the sequel a little bit better. Her sexiness could make any movie good...

That THE FINAL HOOK is the icing on the cake. Sounds like this film will most likely suck. I hope I'm wrong...

TELL me about it! I can understand the first
film "I Know What You Did Last Summer" but
how the HELL can they say, "I STILL Know what
You Did Last Summer" when it was actaully one
year AFTER that. Shouldn't it have been, "I
Still Know What You Did Two Summers Ago?" And
the third one SHOULD be called "I Know What
You'll Waste Money On This Summer." I mean,
gimme a break already. It's like that rumor
of Scream 4, if it DOES get made, they need
to just load it up with gore. You can't do
too many sequels before it gets old, unless
you take a film in a totally new direction.

I've learned by now that any horror flick with a subtitle containing the world 'final' is gonna suck beyond belief. Just look at UL 2 -- Final Cut, or Jason Goes to Hell -- the Final Friday.

I think it's just a way to say "hey, come see this flick, it's our very last few drops of effort being unmercifully squeezed out!"

I'll probably check it out on video, as long as there's no fat white Jamaican dude.
