I haven't seen the previews but I've wanted to see it since I heard about it last year. It sounds very cool and I like Leelee Sobieski and Paul Walker... It used to be called SQUELCH but then was changed to Joy Ride...

Saw the trailer befor KOD. Yet another teen slasher flick, why am I not surprised. Monkey see, monkey do. But It looks cool and suspense-full. Who knows, the Semi Driver might just be Paul Walker character's father.

The trailer for the flick looks awesome. It looks like a combination between breakdown, I know what you did last summer, and halloween. Nevertheless, I think its worth the view. The only thing that worries me about the film is the amount of things that they gave away in the trailer. It may have been too much. Looks great...check out the trailer for yourselves.

I hope it is good because I have wished ever since "Scream" that Hollywood would give us a smart and scary horror pic. But with the horrible talent of Paul Walker this film will most likely not fullfill my dream.

I agree that this movie really does look awsome, probably the mosta nticipated for me of the fall season, but in the trailer it sounds the truckers voice is brad douriff of chucky fame and if you look closely in the scene from the trailer where paul walker is walking through that store that guys that is following him actually looks like brad douriff in quick glance you get. we will have to wait and see but if that is the case i will be really pissed off that the trailer spoiled it for me.

Paul Walker should make the movie more interesting.

I just saw the score today and they showed the preview of Joy Ride and all I can say is I can't wait to see it. I think it puts a somewhat original and creative spin on the genre. I actually I don't think I'd call it a slasher film. It looks like it is different than that. For some reason while I was watching the movie it kinda reminded me of Breakdown. I don't really know why. Either way it looks awesome and I definately can't wait to see it. September seems to be shaping up to be a splendid month with not only Joy Ride but also Heist, Hardball, Rock Star, Big Trouble, Training Day, Hearts in Atlantis and Halloween 8.

Looks nice, but too generic. Personally I'm looking forward to Session 9, which looks very atmospheric and creepy.
