So a big rumor that is floating around is that Jamie will return for a cameo in the movie...to wrap up what happens to her character??

Now I'll be so pissed if they kill her off Scream style in the opening scene....it would ruin everything...

She's about the best of the horror heroin's and to see her die cheaply would really suck..

Yeah I have a feeling that Laurie will bite the big one in the first 5 minutes. That will give the series the right to continue with a new storyline and they wont have to pay the Jamie Lee Curtis paycheck anymore.

Yeah, if they make it like the older 80's horror movies I think that would be cool. Complete with the tit shots and all. It used to be you couldn't rent a horror movie without tit shots, but now since Scream and it's copycats, we don't see anything. It doesn't mean without them a movie is bad, but it doesn't hurt to have them either. I to think Jamie Lee will be killed in the beginning. I also hate the title and that better get changed (Halloween 8 MichaelMyers.com), what a joke. I like the Halloween films but now with each new movie it's just becoming even more corney. I did like H20 and stuff and I hate to see the Halloween films die but I think maybe it's time they give it a rest. I mean, look at how many times Michael Myers has taken a beating, and he's still alive. Plus, he'd be pretty old now, how could he even be up to walking around killing people. You mean to tell me that he doesn't have back problems or anything. It's just getting unbelievable. I will see H8 because I'm a Halloween fan, but it's gonna have to end sometime, or get a new plot or something...

2. Yeah, why not MORE TITS?! The original had 'the obligatory tit shot' and is one of the best horrors ever made. It clearly doesn't harm the movie. We need dumb blondes having sex, and separate them from the intelligent ones.

I also totally agree Morgan, you couldnt be more right. I agree with pretty much everything you said. And I wouldn't mind seeing more Halloween films, but I want them to pick a storyline and stick to it for awhile instead of changing them all the time and then after making a couple failures return to one of the plots that actually worked. That pisses me off. Anyway, screw the rule thing too, yes, SCREAM was clever but if you want to be realistic don't have the people follow the rules. I also say "I'll be right back" when I have buddies over for fun. And people won't stop smoking, drinking, and having sex. Think about it, most people think, "What are the odds of me getting murdered by a psychotic killer anyway." So why would anyone follow the rules. And I love the Friday The 13th movies, they are classic, and I would love to see one with Jason being at Crystal Lake again with some teen campers. And yes they should have the usual characters. The goodie goodie, the horney boyfriend, the dumb blonde tramp, ect...
Make another Friday The 13TH movie, by all means, make more Freddy, make more Halloween. Keep making them, I would be a liar if I said that I didn't enjoy them. I still think Freddys cool, I think he's funny, not scary, I love his one liners, they really stay with you and joke about them with friends. I say they should keep making more of them, just do it right. Stop trying to be creative and stick to what works, what made the series a success in the first place. I think the title for H8 (MichaelMyers.com) is horrible. It puts the series to shame. I'll see it no matter what, I'm a huge horror fan and I see pretty much every horror movie that looks good, even if it doesn't I see it anyway because of curiousity. I just hope they change the title... Also, I don't mind if Laurie (Jamie Lee Curtis) is killed in the beginning, just do it creatively, make it a long and painful death, have fun with it...

Dark Horizons has posted information saying that in the new Halloween movie, it will be a person who dons a mask like the shape and goes after kids broadcasting a webcast from the myers home...

it also said that Jamie Lee's cameo will consist of her being interviewed by one of the kids about Michael Myers

I hope they don't kill her off! I hate it when a character survives sequels, then is killed off just to add SHOCK VALUE or to make you think anything goes, but it actually just gets you irritated. EX: Rachel in Halloween 5: she didn't need to die! The film should have kept her, and killed her at the end or something. What we were left with was just a little girl and no main heroine.

OK, I'll once again pitch my idea for a killer FRIDAY THE 13TH sequel: the 13 (a mere coincidence?) heroes and heroines from the eight sequels journey to Camp Blood as part of a group therapy session for survivors. Among those facing their greatest fears: Amy Steel, Dana Kimmell, Corey Feldman, Kimberly Beck, Melanie Kinnaman, Shavar Ross, Jennifer Cooke, Lar Park Lincoln, Kevin Spirtas, Jensen Daggett, Scott Reeves, John D. LeMay and Kari Keegan.

Instead of Jason being the killer, one of these survivors could be suffering from psychosis brought about by a delayed version of post-traumatic stress disorder. My money would be on Feldman's creepy Tommy character. It would be worth the price of admission to see Amy Steel (the odds-on favorite leading lady in the series) kick his sorry ass!

With the exception of Spirtas and Reeves, who are bonafide soap stars, most of theses actors could be lured out of limbo for this frightfest. A sense of history would guarantee the return of the franchise's most diehard fans back to theaters.

Also, Adrienne King (the heroine from Part 1, who was killed off in Part 2), could be resurrected in a dual role cameo as the group's psychiatrist, Dr. Palmer (get it?).

Just a thought. Anyone wanna write the screenplay with me? Anyone wanna travel to Los Angeles afterwards to pitch the idea to Paramount?

If you want to talk about characters surviving a horror movie only to be canon fodder in the sequel then who has seen MANIC COP 2 when Bruce Campbell got killed.And then replaced him with acne scar man.I was so pissed by that.And jonney cage in the second mortal combat.He died like 5 minutes in.It sucks when they develop a character so well in a movie and have them survive all sorts of crap only to die in the next one before the opening credits are through.Plus maybe the only thing about NMOES movies is how the surviving Dream Warriors got killed off so quikly in past 4,and then Dan in part 5.Nuff said
