Cradle of Fear

Has anyone seen Cradle of Fear? Its a really gory horror movie directed by Alex Chandon and staring Dani Filth from Cradle of Filth. Its only just been released in the UK but I cant find it anywhere! I want to know if its any good before i start spending a loada cash to try and find it.

Yeah. I liked it a lot. Dani Filth is really classy. The very beginning has Dani Filth walking down a street looking cool a hell, and then getting followed into and alley by two thugs who beat the shit outta him. They start to raid his pockets and then Dani tears out one guys throat, stands up and pulls the other guys head apart while basking in his arterial spray.
We are then treated to a number of stories all tied together, linked by the dashing Dani Filth and an incarcerated mental serial killer using paranormal influences to torture a cop on Dani's trail.
The first story is the best with the gorgeous Emily Booth indulging us with plenty of gratuitous nudity and lesbianism and a pretty good plot to boot.
The rest of the stories meander a bit but they're not bad.

This film is really over the top on cheesy gore which is always great. I had no problem finding it in my local rental store. Definately worth you're effort tracking it down, I reckon.

Yeah, I've seen this - I got it out from my local Blockbuster, although they actually had some of the DVDs of it for sale for £6.99!

It's a pretty good film, wayyy cheesy in places (but in a good way!) and well worth seeing. Dani Filth is very cool in it, and the whole thing has the feel of the old Hammer flicks.

Track it down, it's worth seeing.

It was about twenty minutes into this before I realised that the babe in the first story was one of the presenters of Channel 4's console/computer game review/news show Bits. When she started getting her kit off (damn impressive body on that woman) I was sitting going "Nah...it can't be." A quick visit to IMDB soon confirmed it.

It was a pretty good movie but the shot on video look was a little bit offputting. Still...worth a viewing.

That Emily Booth is also the lead in that camp as knickers flik Pervirella. That Bits was pretty good what.

i liked it alot. the shot on video look didnt really put me off at all. the music sucked but the gore was pretty cool.

Good old fashioned gory fun, and Emily Bouffante / Emily Booth / Bouff is sweet, funny and drop dead gorgeous :)

yes. she is very very hiot and gets naked so thats always good.
